With its comprehensive features and 500 W motor rating, the BT-BD 501 bench drill enables high-precision drilling for a wide spectrum of jobs. Nine speed settings from 280 to 2,350 min-1 permit optimum adjustment to the requirements imposed by the material and the bit used. The user-friendly scale ring can be adjusted exactly with just one hand for repeat drilling depths. The drilling spindle of the BT-BD 501 runs with high precision thanks to its ball bearing and V-belt drive. The speed is controlled through friction locking by a stepped belt pulley. The torsion-resistant drill table is infinitely variable in height and can be tilted and swiveled without difficulty into the required working position. Slots are worked into the sturdy foot for attaching a vice. High-grade rubberized handles and a folding chip guard provide a high level of safety while working. The On/Off switch with zero-voltage release feature prevents the machine from starting up again unintentionally after a power failure.
